| ST Kick-Off Meeting with representatives of manufacturing/importing companies and association representatives on 19 March 2025. ST explained in the meeting, the following are the advantages for manufacturing/importing companies that participate in the MEPS guideline development program for hot & cold water dispenser products; | |
| 1. A rebate by ST of at least RM1,000 for each company that sends samples to be tested at SIRIM | |
| 2. The test report issued during the testing can be used for the Certificate of Energy Efficiency (COE) application | |
| 3. The energy efficiency level for the samples sent during the testing will be included in the EE star rating table (at least 2 stars), unless the energy efficiency level for the sample is too far from other samples. | |
| Therefore, to facilitate the process of distributing rebates fairly & to facilitate SIRIM to issue quotations, kindly fill in the product information to be sent to SIRIM for testing in the attached excel file template. A copy of the presentation slides is also attached for your reference. | |
| Each company is requested to send at least two (2) models of hot & cold water dispenser. One (1) model for storage type & one (1) model for instantaneous type. Two (2) samples are required for each model. | |
