Swinburne Sarawak Student Branch (BR423) was officially established on January 26, 2016. Led by its Student Branch Advisor, Dr. Victor Bong Nee Shin, the student members comprise mainly undergraduates from the Mechanical Engineering program. The student branch has organized numerous events and activities including career and technical talks, site visits, networking nights, industry engagements, etc, while also being actively involved in university-wide club events, and some of the events by the MASHRAE and the Kuching Section, as well as the Chapters Regional Conference.
