Conference
Asia Pacific Conference on Built Environment (APCBE) is a biennial event of ASHRAE Region XIII and was first launched in 1991. In response to the growing technology, the Conference scope has been expanded from HVAC&R to cover various aspects related to the built environment. This international conference provides an excellent platform for researchers and practitioners to share ideas, best practices, new technologies, and future prospects.
This is a 1½ -days conference with participants from academics, architects, building owners, consultants, contractors, facilities managers, government, industries, suppliers, and other parties who have an interest in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the built environment.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter welcomes engineers, architects, designers, researchers, academics, property developers, professionals, and practitioners involved in the wide range of disciplines associated with building design and building services engineering. The official language of the Conference is English.

PROCEEDING PUBLICATION
All the accepted manuscripts will be published in SCOPUS-indexed conference proceedings with an additional charge of USD130.
1. Full paper (.docx, .pdf) submission is required for review purposes. All full papers will be peer-reviewed, and accepted ones will be given options for publication in IOP-EES e-Conference Proceedings.
2. Paper title: Same as abstract title
paper text: 5 – 8 pages (.pdf format) – research paper
5 – 10 pages (.pdf format) – review paper
3. The similarity score of the full paper should be low (a similarity index below 25%, each reference less than 2% is acceptable for publication in IOP-EES e-Conference Proceedings.).
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The abstract should contain the background and objectives of the study, the methodology used, and key results. Interested authors are requested to submit the abstract in MS Word format to the Proceedings & Technical Committee at the email address apcbemalaysia2023@gmail.com Submission should include the following information:
- Title of the paper
- Affiliation and contact details (email address, postal address, and phone number)
- A body of not more than 300 words and 3 ~ 5 keywords
