Report:	Mr. Ryan Ooi welcome ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter (MASHRAE) team to Department of Environment (DOE) office in Putrajaya and he proceed with the agenda:
	a) Introduction to the participants from both parties
	b) A brief overview of the purpose and goals of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
	c) Discuss the specific area of corporation and collaboration between the parties
	d) Identify opportunities for resource sharing, including data, expertise, facilities, and personnel
	e) Define a timeline for the implementation of activities under the MOU.
	f) Closing
	President Mr. Tee introduced MASHRAE team members in attendance to DOE, the he proceeded the ASHRAE and ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter introduction to DOE.
	President Mr. Tee invited both Ryan and Amy of DOE to attend:
	a) The MASHRAE RP/MP Networking Night on 25.4.2024 at Sky Hill Fusion, Sky Deck at Avante Hotel.
	b) The MASHRAE Annual Dinner scheduled on 25.10.2024 at Bangsar South Convention Centre.
	Government Affair Chair, Mr. Chea Suei Keong, conducted the briefing of Government activities and advocacy to DOE team. He also outlined ASHRAE Government Affairs vision, goals and objectives. MASHRAE team is currently working with Suruhanjaya Tenaga team to formulate and prepare the Study of National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2.0 (NEEAP2.0), implementation period from 1.1.2026 to 31.12.2035.
	Past President Ts. Ng Wen Bin tabled the agenda on:
	a) To get endorse and support of O&M program.
	b) To train DOE’s Authorized Training Centre (ATC)’ trainers.
	c) To organize Roadshow or Seminar for DOE.
	d) Content in MOU.
	e) Invited DOE to attend the World Refrigeration Day on 16.7.2024, jointly hosted by UniKL and MASHRAE.
