| Report: | The meeting was chaired by Ir Dr Khairul Azmy Bin Kamaluddin, Senior Deputy Director (Services), Engineering Services Division, Ministry of Health, Malaysia. The meeting started with introduction of the members present (physical and online) from Ministry of Health and ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter. Ir Dr Khairul Azmy next gave an overview briefing on the duty and activities of MOH engineering services division. This was followed by a presentation of ASHRAE and Malaysia Chapter by Ts Dr King YJ. The open discussion that followed, covered areas of energy efficiency, commissioning, humidity control, green building, ventilation, etc. as experienced in MOH's healthcare facilities. ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter invited MoH to send representatives to attend the various upcoming activities organized by the Chapter, viz the Independent Commissioning Specialist (iCxS) Competency Course, DOE Roadshow, MASHRAE-SEDA ACMV course, etc. ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter also offered assistance on matters relating to HVAC&R to MoH whenever there is a need. The meeting ended with a group photo session. ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter would like to thank the Ministry of Health for accepting the courtesy visit by the Chapter BOG and committee to the Ministry's office. |
