| Agenda: | To develop a guidelines for healthcare worker (HCW) and employers on how to improve indoor ventilation in health care facilities. It is not a standard or regulation, and it creates no new legal obligations. It contains recommendations as well as descriptions by referring to WHO’s Roadmap to improve and ensure good indoor ventilation in the context of COVID-19 as well as other related document available. |
| Report: | The Infectious Diseases Department in University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) and Ministry of Health, Malaysia initiated to draft the guidelines. The propose is to develop a guidelines for healthcare workers and employers on how to improve indoor ventilation in healthcare facilities. Dr. King Yeong Jin (AMC) and Dr. Bernard Saw Lip Huat (UTAR) was invited to the working group by UMMC. The guidelines consist of 54 pages with 11 advisors which include Director Gerenal of Health, Ministry of Health and 18 contributors from MOH, UMMC, UTAR, and AMC. The documnet was made available online in MOH website since 5 August 2021. This guidelines has also been circulated to all the government and private hospital by MOH.
