Report: The curren National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 1.0 (NEEAP1.0) entered thelast phase, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga was tasked to prepare for the next 10 years Action Plans to help Malaysia Energy Users to efficiently using the Energy.
  Under the Development and Study of National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2.0 (NEEAP2.0), Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) commenced the series of Focus Working Group for Industrial, Commercial and Residential Sectors. The purpose was to get Stakeholders, identified by ST, to propose Initiatives and Action Plans to be implemented during the period of 2026 to 2035. 
  The objectives for NEEAP2.0:
  1.  Untuk menghasilkan dokumen Rangka Kerja Dasar Kecekapan dan Konservasi Tenaga Negara.
  2. Untuk mengenal pasti inisiatif kecekapan tenaga yang akan dilaksanakan di Malaysia untuk 10 tahun akan datang dari 2026 hingga 2035.
  3. Untuk menyemak dan mengukur anggaran kesan daripada penguatkuasaan Rang Undang-Undang Kecekapan dan Konservasi Tenaga di Malaysia.
  Focus Working Group-1 Industrial Sector met and discussed on 4 October at Bangi Resort Hotel. ST invited 20 Stakeholders and a total 18 Stakeholders attended.
  Focus Working Group-3 End User-Residential Sector met and discussed on 14 November 2023 at Bangi Resort Hotel. ST invite Stakeholders.
  The Focus Working Group for the 1st meeting for End User/Residetial sector listed as follow:
  1.  To identify the gaps and barriers in implementing the NEEAP 1.0.
  2.  To review the estimated impact of mandatory requirements under the EECA which encompass electrical and thermal energy.
