| The development of this long awaited MS is sponsored by BSEEP and targets to wrap up by Oct for 2 months of public review and thereafter approval by the ISD and Minister for publishing in early 2017. | |
| This standard essentially concentrates on the passive EE design requirement and covers all categories of residential typologies from landed to low rise to high rise. | |
| OTTV and Roof U-value compliance is the key requirement with natural ventilation encouraged. | |
| Active EE requirements centre on use of EE appliances meeting ST’s Star Rating Index. |
